This series consists of cash journals used in the office of the Secretary of State to record monies received by them. Money is collected for fees for commissions, domestic and foreign corporation filing fees, trust receipts, and fees charged for field notes, patents, copies of state Acts and copies of the state Code. Listed for each transaction are the names of the individuals remitting the fees, the date, the amount collected, and the type of transaction.
